A seed-stage AI startup with just four employees and $3M in funding is seeking a Founding AI Engineer with over 5 years of experience. The company's mission is to redefine large-scale audits by using agentic AI to increase quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will be a key player in a small, high-autonomy team, responsible for building and architecting agentic AI systems that will become the gold standard for enterprise audits.

This is a ground-floor opportunity to work with MIT founders on cutting-edge AI systems, with the potential for direct product impact on Fortune 500 clients. The role offers high autonomy and a chance to build systems from the ground up in a fast-paced environment.

The company is looking for a candidate with a strong background in:

• AI Systems: Architecting and building agentic AI systems from scratch.
• Data Processing: Experience processing and structuring massive datasets from sources like PDFs and Excel.
• Infrastructure: Building scalable and error-resistant infrastructure with AWS and Docker.
• Core Technologies: Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript, with practical experience with LLMs, distributed systems, and data pipelines.
• Experimentation: Running real-time experiments to optimize system reliability.

• Experience working with US-based VC-backed startups
• Experience with high-growth, non-US startups
• Experience working with US companies
• From product-based companies (dev shop backgrounds are not a fit)
