We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow ETL & Data Engineer to join our client´s team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in ServiceNow ETL, Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, JavaScript/GlideScript, Java, and Git. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing data integration workflows, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms, and implementing best practices in data engineering and ETL processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage ETL pipelines using ServiceNow ETL, Azure Data Factory, and Snowflake.
- Design and implement data integration solutions between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems.
- Write, optimize, and maintain GlideScript (JavaScript in ServiceNow) for automation and scripting.
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and integrations.
- Utilize Git for version control and collaboration in an agile development environment.
- Ensure data quality, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of ETL processes.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and business logic.
- Monitor and maintain data pipelines to ensure reliability and efficiency.
- Document technical processes, best practices, and system architectures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong experience with ServiceNow ETL and data transformation.
- Hands-on expertise in Azure Data Factory (ADF) for data movement and orchestration.
- Proficiency in Snowflake for data warehousing and querying.
- Advanced scripting skills in JavaScript/GlideScript within ServiceNow.
- Solid understanding of Java for backend development and integrations.
- Experience with Git for source code management and CI/CD workflows.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ServiceNow development beyond ETL (e.g., ITSM, CMDB, etc.).
- Knowledge of REST/SOAP APIs for data integration.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure beyond ADF.
